The lab has had a productive year, showcasing compelling original data at several conferences. Here’s a brief summary of our presentations.
We’re delighted to introduce our enthusiastic team of summer students (Julia, Ashley, and Amrutha — aka the ducklings) and a talented high school student (Srujan) who have joined us for an exciting season in the lab. Their arrival has injected our lab with a fresh surge of youthful energy, amplifying the vibrancy of our research endeavors. During a recent lab meeting, Yoon and Sabina captivated everyone with their data presentations. We also celebrated the ducklings proudly graduated from the Park Fly Academy :)).

The lab attended the first conference after two years pandemic. Yoon presented a “lab project” on the function of dopaminergic neurons in regulating the fly’s reward behaviors and won second place in the poster award. Congratulations to Yoon and the lab!
